Fairy Dance
She walks through blades of emerald grass
her bare feet make no sound
sunlight glistens though golden hair
flashes of Ruby and sapphire wings
dance before her
leading her to the fairy glen
oh how wondrous to be chosen
to join the celebration
a fairy babe born today
pixies play a merry tune
the dance is light and gay
she sits amongst the wildflowers
and leaves her special gifts
of mead and honeycakes
wrapped in purple silk
this honor she knows
is beyond compare
as the fairies dance off
into the mist
