This poem is dedicated to my daughter Adrienne and her courageous fight to defeat her brain tumor.
Victory
We will fight tooth and nail
defeat will not be a word in our house!
how dare you invade the Innocent?
how dare you attempt to end a life?
you snuck in while no-one was looking
and sucker punched us all in the heart.
It will not happen again
we are on to you the battle is already half won
we believe
that we will prevail.
It is right around the corner,
Victory is ours!
